A garden with spectacular views
Casa La Roza is nestled in the Zardon River Valley, and cradled by hills all around. The morning mists pass through the valley, and the movement of the sun across the garden through the day allows for plenty of sunshine on clear days. At night, the lack of ambient light allows a multitude of stars to be seen, as well as the odd shooting star if you are lucky! There is plenty of lawn space for playing games, yoga, kicking a ball, or just enjoying the ambience.
Terrace and horreo dining
There are 2 large tables with benches on both the terrace outside the kitchen, and under the horreo, set just below the house. There are 2 movable Weber charcoal BBQs (small and large), with complimentary charcoal and lighters, and all the necessary tools to enjoy great BBQ meals. Camping chairs stored below the horreo allow you to set yourself down in whatever area of the garden you like, and even take them down to the river in the summer.
The Sauna
After a strenuous hike, cycle or surf, relax and unwind in our wood fired 6 meter barrel sauna, tucked away in the far corner of the garden.
There’s space for up to 6 adults, a changing room, cold shower and covered outdoor bench area to take in the views and sounds of the garden, the hills and river beyond.
Parking area
2 or 3 cars can park directly in front of the house, and the lower carpark has space for several more cars.
