We stayed at Casa la Roza for three weeks and absolutely loved it. The house is spacious, clean, well decorated, has a beautiful garden and amazing views. As cherry on the cake there is a small river running past the house where our children went swimming and building dams. The house is a real gem – you notice from the details that the owner renovated it with love. We will definitely come back and can recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, comfortable holiday in a beautiful environment.
Our experience at Casa La Roza was absolutely magical. The entire house and surrounding garden were spectacular. Sheila provided a guidebook full of instructions that made our stay seamless. She was always quick to answer any questions we had.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially the kids who enjoyed running around outside all day, exploring the river nearby and taking long walks. I would highly recommend Casa La Roza to anyone looking to rest and recharge with their family. The experience will surely be like no other!
Casa La Roza was absolutely stunning! We loved every minute of our stay. The house is beautiful and sits in an extremely well maintained garden with incredible views. This was the perfect place to base ourselves for our stay in the Asturias. Sheila was extremely accommodating and helped us get the most out of our stay. We would love to come back!
This is the second time we spend our holidays at Casa La Roza and as long as Sheila let us, we will keep on coming back. The peacefulness we breath as soon as we cross the gate is overwhelming. The only problem is that time seems to pass way too fast when we are there, it’s never enough. My kids never want to leave, as so do we. Thank you for sharing with us your little piece of heaven on earth.
This is a beautiful, clean and airy house in a stunning location. Lots and lots to do in the area. Lots of space in the house and gardens to relax. We hope to be back.
One of the best not to say the best house we have rented on Airbnb!!! The house is amazing, both charming and fully equipped, and located in an incredible place surrounded by mountains and nature… and eventually very close from the best spots to visit in the region. And Sheila as a guest is very kind and always helpful when needed. Needless to say I super recommend!
La casa es maravillosa, el entorno, las instalaciones, la decoración, el menaje,… el lugar perfecto para desconectar y pasar unos dias en familia. Alejado del ruido, y cerca de todo, no podría haber escogido una casa mejor, la recomiendo 100 %. Volveremos seguro.
La casa está perfectamente equipada, tanto dentro como fuera. Una carpeta de bienvenida te ayuda con la casa, como así también algunos tips de restaurantes y senderos. Súper recomendable para pasar en familia/amigos, hacer senderos por la zona o solo hacer lectura. Sheila excelente anfitriona! This is a beautiful country home in the middle of nature yet 10mins away from restaurants and facilities. Perfectly equipped and great for family Holidays! Strongly recommended!
Wonderful stay at Casa La Roza. The initial windy road to the home is captivating our small Jeep was able to squeeze thru the roads. Shelia was very informative and provide step by step instructions to arrive to the home. There is fast wifi everywhere inside and out of the home and there is also good cell service. We loved to open the windows and hear the stream and cow bells in the morning. There is so much to do within a 30 minute drive from Covadonga to Ribadesella. A lot of really good places to eat in Arriondas (supermarket location too) and Cangas de Onis. The area is super safe and tranquil, we walked down to the stream a couple of times and cooked under the hórreo. The home is well equipped with everything you need to cook. While it may get a little warm during the day, the home cools to a perfect temperature at night without AC. Beautiful tranquil, clean, modern, and spacious house to remote work and take advantage of the sights.
Even though I’d love to keep this place a secret, I have to write another excellent review. It’s such a lovely area, and this house is perfect. It’s a great base for exploring, but we ended up spending most of our time hanging around the property. It’s a beautiful setting, and the house is exceedingly comfortable. It feels cozy and lived-in in all the right ways. A clean, well-stocked, excellent kitchen and a nice living room inside, and nice outdoor areas to hang out and loaf around. The BBQ set-up was top-notch, too. We just spent a month traveling from vacation-rental-to-vacation-

Wake up in the morning, fix yourself a cup of coffee, open the kitchen door, go outside and breath…Sheila’s house is the cherry on top of the cake. You already think Asturias is idilic, the hills, the vernacular architecture, the people, and then you get to the house, and you know it’s gonna be a great trip. We booked Sheila’s house to spend some family time, and it was perfect (even the kids thought so). Sheila and Mark made everything so easy, was like taking to a couple of friends.
We recommend this listing so much that we’re afraid to make it popular.

Sheila ha estado atenta en todo momento a nuestras necesidades y solicitudes.
El único problema es que nos quedamos con gusto a poco, fuimos tres noches y la verdad es que tendrían que haber sido por lo menos 10.
Los adultos pudimos relajarnos como nunca y los niños han disfrutado muchísimo del parque y el río.

La casa es maravillosa, mejor que lo que se ve en las fotos. Es preciosa por fuera y por dentro, tiene todo lo necesario para estar en ella más a gusto que en tu propia casa.

One of the best holiday homes we’ve ever stayed in. The location in itself is outstanding, but the house is so well designed, well equipped and comfortable that it’s a pleasure to stay there. There’s no bad view, with every window framing the lovely garden and beautiful surrounds. We fell asleep each night listening to the sound of the river and owls calling to each other. Shutters on all the windows meant we slept late and there’s so much to do close by that a week’s visit felt far too short. This is a special place to stay and Sheila is a great host.
One of the best place I ever visit. House has everything what you May need to have ideal Hollidays. Amazing nature and honestly I can spend hours telling how it was perfect there.
This is a perfect place for a family. Everything in the house was well thought and full of nice deco details. View is amazing and it is really enjoyable to spend time around the house. There are a lot of activities, a river and a beautiful garden and places to go hiking. We would definitely recommend it and we hope to come back to visit again.
